Artist alex hoare spent most of 2005 working on a site specific installation and performance project inspired by the remains of a nunnery in winchester. outcomes of that project can be seen here.

in 2006 she has received an artsplus development award to explore the potential of opening up the site to the public, to create a space which evokes the history of the site through the senses and the imagination using sound and film technology.

 

The Concept

to develop an environment that reflects the history of the site, linking the present to the past in a way that inspires the senses and imagination.
